The President of the Serbian Football Federation has claimed that they have held talks with Sampdoria’s Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The 44-year-old left his job with the Serbia national team last year to take charge of the Bluerchiati.
But the FSS’ chief has admitted that they have been in contact with the tactician about the possibility of being re-hired.
“We are in contact with Sinisa,” Tomislav Karadzic told Kurir. “We have talked about the possibility of his return.
“We have made no contact with Sampdoria, but the most important thing is that we’re thinking of Mihajlovic.”
It is not known whether the job will be a joint appointment, with Mihajlovic combining Serbia and Sampdoria commitments.
