Fredy Guarin has surprised Inter by reporting in for training today, a day ahead of schedule, as Piero Ausilio comments: “We are enormously pleased.”
The Colombian had been granted two days of leave from Appiano Gentile after seeing a move to Juventus in exchange for Mirko Vucinic break down at the last minute.
Whilst his future remains unclear with the Nerazzurri, the midfielder has surprised the club in reporting in today for training, despite only being due back for Friday’s workout.
Director Piero Ausilio revealed the motivation to return early was the player’s.
“He asked us to train last night,” Ausilio has told SportMediaset today.
“Immediately we informed the Coach. For us, we are enormously pleased, he is an Inter player and we want him to be comfortable.
“He has already spoken with Mazzarri. At the end of training, I will also talk with him.”
