Jonathan Biabiany’s agent confirmed the Parma man is in talks with Marcello Lippi’s Guangzhou Evergrande.
The Chinese club tried and failed to sign Alessandro Diamanti, as Bologna released a statement this morning terminating negotiations.
It’s reported they have now turned to Parma winger Biabiany instead, offering far more than interested parties Milan and Juventus.
“It’s all true, there is interest from Guangzhou,” agent Giovanni Branchini told Fantagazzetta.com.
“We’ll see what happens over the next few days. Can the move go through? It’s possible, certainly. At the moment, though, nothing is definitive.”
Biabiany is co-owned by Sampdoria, so any transfer would have to be cleared with them too.
