The deals had been in the works for several days and Nocerino’s transfer was finally completed today.
“West Ham United are delighted to announce the arrival of AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino on loan until the end of the season,” read the statement.
With eleven Serie A games and two appearances in the Champions League under his belt in 2013/14, Nocerino will now be bringing his talents to the Barclays Premier League with the Hammers.”
Borriello tweeted goodbye to the Roma supporters on Friday evening, thanking them for “fantastic months, crowned by a wonderful record. Thank you all!”
He is flying out to London today and will undergo a medical before signing the contract.
It is believed to be an initial six-month loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
