Rolando Maran asked Catania for “heart and courage” as they can cause an upset against struggling Inter.

“We know that we are facing an important club, even if they lost to Genoa last week,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“We must put heart and courage on to the field in order to get a good result. There are three points up for grabs and it is our duty to seek a result.
“I’ve seen my team working hard and ready for anything. We must carry on that approach from training on to a match situation, as the psychological aspect is very important.”
Maran made his return to the bench after replacement Gigi De Canio was sacked, but lost his comeback 3-0 at home to Fiorentina.
“Lucas Castro put a lot of effort in against Fiorentina, but perhaps he should’ve been more precise with the ball at his feet. It’s important he is willing to sacrifice for the team, though.”
Inter are struggling badly, as they have lost four of their last six games including the Coppa Italia.
Francesco Lodi returns from suspension and Maxi Lopez is also included despite being expected to leave in the January window.
Pablo Barrientos sits out a ban with Pablo Alvarez still sidelined, but Sergio Almiron has now recovered.
Catania also add Fabian Rinaudo to their ranks after he arrived from Sporting Lisbon.
