The annual awards recognising the best from the preceding season were held in Milan on Monday evening and for the second year in a row, Andrea Pirlo was named Player of the Year, for his efforts during 2012-13.

Coach of the Year was picked up by Antonio Conte, also for a second successive time, whilst best club was also awarded to the Old Lady.

Organised and run by the Italian Footballers’ Association, the awards are into their third year and nominated by a panel of players, Coaches, referees and journalists.

Juve also saw Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Arturo Vidal voted into the Best XI.
