Claudio Lotito has commented that Lazio will consider Hernanes’ sale, and today has been spotted with Inter President Erick Thohir.

The Brazilian playmaker’s future is heavily rumoured to be away from the Aquile, as he enters the final 18 months of his current contract, with no signs of a renewal having been offered.

Inter are believed to be leading the chase to pick up the 28-year-old, who is understood to be valued upwards of €20m.

Today sees Lotito spotted at the same Milan hotel as Inter counterpart Erick Thohir, with it understood that details to such a move are being discussed.

This comes even after the Lazio President’s assertion yesterday on the matter.

“At the moment we have not received any crazy offers and the player has not been placed on the market,” Lotito told Rai Sport.

“He has not asked to be transferred either. Lazio have not put Hernanes up for sale, but if we were to receive a particular offer, then it will be evaluated.

“At present there are no offers that should pose a threat. How much is the player worth? Hernanes is a champion of international standard, a starter with the Brazil national team and a great professional.”
