Borriello: Good players adapt

Marco Borriello believes he will have no problem adapting to life in the Premier League, after he completed a switch to West Ham.

The striker has joined the east London side until the end of the season, but the Roma man has insisted that it won’t take him long to get used to the physical nature of the Premier League.

“I cannot wait to test myself in this new League,” he told reporters.

“Maybe in Italy there is more attention paid to tactics, perhaps it is a bit more physical here.

“But a good player can adapt to any League. I had the opportunity to come to the Premier League before.

“I chose to stay at Roma that time, but when the chance came again, I couldn’t say no.”
