Steaua Bucharest confirmed Fiorentina will sign goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu on a free transfer in July, but Dario Dainelli won’t join.
The Viola are not only active in the January transfer window, but also working for next season.
“Fiorentina informed us they started negotiations with Tatarusanu to sign a contract that will begin at the end of this season,” explained Steaua Bucharest director Mihai Stoica on Dolce Sport.
“It was a courtesy call from the Viola, one that usually doesn’t happen.”
Tatarusanu is a 27-year-old Romanian international goalkeeper whose contract expires on June 30, having been in Bucharest since July 2009.
However, it is also reported by Sport Mediaset that Fiorentina’s offer for defender Dainelli has been turned down by Chievo.
It would’ve been a return to the Stadio Artemio Franchi for 34-year-old Dainelli, who made 164 appearances for the Viola and scored seven goals.
