New Inter signing Danilo D’Ambrosio has revealed his delight and pride at having secured a move to the San Siro giants.
The 25-year-old full back has today completed a transfer for an undisclosed fee from Torino and has since told Inter Channel that he cannot wait to get started for his new club.
“What a feeling it is to be here, I’m really happy,” D’Ambrosio told Inter’s official in-house service.
“It’s a proud moment for both me and my family. I’ve had to work my way up but now I’m at Inter and obviously I’m very proud.
“I can play on either flank. I’ll give it everything when I’m called upon. I’m fighting fit and ready to give my all, right from the off. That’s my pledge to the fans.”
D’Ambrosio’s twin brother Dario also plays professionally in Italy and the Nerazzurri’s latest acquisition spoke of his dream to one day share the same pitch as his sibling.
“He’s at Lecce,” he commented. “It’s great to share the same passion with your brother.
“I’d love us to play together in Serie A one day but all I’m thinking about at the moment is doing well here.”
