Mauro Icardi’s agent has moved to quash speculation linking the Inter striker with a move to Monaco.
It has been rumoured that the 20-year-old could be in line for a move to the big spending Ligue 1 side, with the Nerazzurri having already apparently green-lit the deal and it now in the hands of Monaco’s owner to confirm.
However, the player’s agent has suggested otherwise, indicating his willingness to stay with the San Siro side.
“He is happy at Inter,” Abian Moreno has told Calciomercato.com today.
“He wants to play more regularly and show he is the best striker in Walter Mazzarri’s squad.
“Inter are the only ones who can talk about the future of Icardi.
“I can’t talk about it and neither can the player. People talk too much about his private life, they should leave him in peace.
“I don’t want to talk about rumours surrounding other clubs.”
