New Sassuolo Coach Alberto Malesani has praised the ambition of his new club after yesterday replacing the sacked Eusebio Di Francesco.
The former Chievo, Panathinaikos and Palermo Coach was unveiled this morning at the Piazza Risorgimento and will take charge of the Neroverdi at least until the end of the season.
“All the ingredients are here to keep Sassuolo in Serie A,” said the new boss to assembled reporters.
“This is a club with ambition, I see a lot of similarities to Chievo.
“It was right that the club also looked at other candidates, I am still the same open and honest personality you have always known.
“We now need to make a strong statement by beating Hellas. Despite being a fan, right now all that counts is Sassuolo, these three points are crucial to send out a strong signal.”
