Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has spoken of his desire to see new loan signing Anderson remain at the club beyond the end of the season.
Speaking at the official unveiling of the Brazilian as a Viola player, Prade revealed his delight at having secured the Manchester United midfielder’s services and strongly hinted that the Brazilian international’s long term future could lie at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
“We’re starting with a loan deal, but our intention is to stay together for a long time,” he announced.
“We were looking for a different type of midfielder.
“Anderson is great at getting himself into spaces, has a great left foot and is exactly what we wanted.”
