Sassuolo signed Sergio Floccari, Matteo Brighi and are in talks with Paolo Cannavaro, while Jasmin Kurtic joined Torino.
The Serie A newcomers made three official transfers this afternoon with new Coach Alberto Malesani.
Striker Floccari was signed from Lazio on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee and Torino sold them midfielder Brighi.
In turn, Kurtic has gone to Torino on loan from Sassuolo.
The Neroverdi are still not finished, as 32-year-old Napoli defender Cannavaro was spotted in negotiations with Sassuolo directors this afternoon.
“We need to thoroughly assess all the opportunities open to him,” agent Gaetano Fedele said today.
“It’s not even impossible he might stay but he won’t be going out on loan. Anything could happen.”
