Cagliari striker Victor Ibarbo is in hospital after suffering acute appendicitis.
The Colombian international did not take part in today’s training session and was rushed to hospital in agony.
According to the official club website, Ibarbo will be held at the Ospedale Marino for observation.
It is likely he will have his appendix removed and therefore won’t be able to face Fiorentina on Saturday in Serie A.
The Sardinians will be without the suspended Andrea Cossu and injured Nene.
