Pablo Armero’s agent confirmed Napoli and West Ham “still have to exchange documents, but he appreciated the proposal.”
The reports emerged this afternoon that West Ham were close to taking Armero after his proposed move to Milan collapsed.
“They still have to exchanged documents and I don’t know precisely when it will be completed,” agent Luciano Ramalho told CalcioNapoli24.it.
“Pablo appreciated the proposal from the English club and he likes the idea of playing in the Premier League.
“However, let’s wait before saying anything else. The transfer market is unpredictable.”
The 27-year-old Colombian only officially joined Napoli from Udinese in July and played 18 games in all competition this season, having arrived in January 2013 on loan.
Armero would’ve joined Milan this week, but the transfer collapsed when Kevin Constant refused the move to Napoli in an exchange of loans.
