Miralem Pjanic says ‘Roma know what I think’ with regards to his future, as he comments that he has ‘become a fan of this team’.
Whilst speculated as in contract renewal talks with the Giallorossi, the Bosnian has also gone through January having been continually linked with interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
“I still have a year-and-a-half on my contract,” Pjanic has commented in an interview with Roma Channel today.
“I know there are other clubs interested, but I am dealing with Roma, they know what I think.
“I became a fan of this team, I have become involved with the fans and my teammates, and this is something that is very important for a player.
“This year the environment is calmer, and now as players we feel that. It’s very nice to play here, we hope to bring home some silverware.”
In the League, the team find themselves six points behind leaders Juventus.
“Nothing is finished yet. We know that the championship is long, we want to continue on this pace, which is good.
“The goals are high but attainable. If we end up in second place then the team would be disappointed. We are looking behind, yes, but particularly ahead of our position.
“Rudi Garcia? His game is based on possession. He gives the keys to the game to midfield and this works well - we defend and attack as 11. The Coach has given me a lot of confidence, I feel very happy.
“He has understood how I and others function - the results are good and we are all trying to give our best. He has helped us all.”
