“I always remember tough games against Juve,” the Argentina international told the Corriere dello Sport.
“In recent years the Bianconeri proved they are the best side in Italy and are doing extraordinary things.
“Just take the 1-1 draw with Lazio, as they were a goal down and with 10 men, but still avoided defeat. Juventus never give up.”
That result did whittle down their lead over Roma to just six points, but Campagnaro doesn’t doubt the title will return to Turin.
“They have a good advantage and in the head-to-heads with Roma and Napoli proved they’ve got another gear. They are too much stronger than the rest.
“Carlos Tevez is a truly exceptional player. I faced him earlier this season, last summer in a friendly and in the Champions League for Napoli when he was at Manchester City. You can’t give someone like him a metre, or he’ll always beat you in the one-on-one.
“In Italy he confirmed his status as one of the best in the world and is in good company at Juventus with Fernando Llorente.”
Inter are an extraordinary 23 points adrift of the Serie A leaders and out of the Coppa Italia.
“We often played better than our opponents, even when the results didn’t arrive, as we dropped points thanks to a mixture of mistakes and negative incidents. We need a great victory to make that step up.
“I never had doubts about leaving Napoli for Inter and I absolutely do not regret the decision. Napoli was a unique experience in my life and career, as it was similar to living in South America.
“Was I close to joining Juventus over the summer? Let’s just say there was a little something, but I made the best decision for me and signed for Inter.”
