The agent of Lazio playmaker Keita Balde Diao has tried to take the pressure off of his client by insisting that he is not a replacement for Hernanes.
‘The Prophet’ left the capital on the last day of the January window to sign for Inter, with the Senegalese teenager coming in as trequartista.
The 18-year-old’s representative though, has claimed that fans shouldn’t see him as the new Hernanes.
“After the departure of Hernanes there’s been a bit of trepidation,” Ulisse Savini told Radio Radio.
“Nobody was quite sure how the lad would react given his newfound responsibility. But I’ve known him for a long time and knew he wouldn’t have any trouble.
“Hernanes and Keita are two very different player and shouldn’t be compared.
“The lad has a contract with Lazio until 2017, and everyone’s happy with the agreement that’s in place at the moment.”
