Lazio’s increasingly rated forward Keita Balde is reportedly in line for contract renewal talks come the end of the season.
The 18-year-old former Barcelona youth academy prospect has impressed in his appearances for Le Aquile this season.
Speculation is turning to a possible future away from the Stadio Olimpico, with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs said to be keeping tabs, and the Corriere dello Sport say Real Madrid have already tried one unsuccessful approach, whilst the player harbours ambitions of Manchester United or a return to Barca.
However, it is also reported today by the Corriere dello Sport that Lazio have protected themselves over the player’s future.
The capital outfit are seen as having improved Keita’s contract last summer before preseason, upping his salary of €1m and including a clause to hold talks on further improvements come the end of this season.
