Napoli target Jackson Martinez has admitted that the Italian top-flight is ‘fascinating’ and is open to a move to Serie A.
The Porto striker looked to be on the verge of signing for the Partenopei in the summer, before Rafa Benitez’s men opted instead for Gonzalo Higuain.
However, the Colombia international has conceded that he wants to leave Portugal, and is interesting in life on the peninsula.
“I feel good at Porto right now,” he told EL Tiempo. “I’m fine here at the moment, but I would like to play outside Portugal.
“The Italian League, for example, fascinates me.
“But so does the English, Spanish and German Leagues. I’ll just have to wait and see what my future holds.”
