Giorgio Chiellini has avoided a serious injury, but he and Andrea Barzagli could miss Juventus-Chievo.
The defender limped off during a 2-2 draw with Verona on Sunday afternoon and there were fears he had torn the calf muscle.
Today tests showed there are no lesions, but there is an inflammation of the soleus muscle in the left leg.
It’s believed this rules Chiellini out of this weekend’s Serie A encounter with Chievo.
There are also huge doubts over teammate Barzagli, who already missed the Verona game.
