Mattia Perin’s agent has claimed that the goalkeeper wants to stay at Genoa beyond this season.
The shot-stopper has been in superb form for the Grifone this term, and has subsequently been linked with a host of top clubs in the summer.
However, his representative has insisted that the 21-year-old wants to remain at the Marassi.
“If you ask Mattia, he’ll reply without hesitation that he wants to stay at Genoa,” Matteo Roggi told pianetagenoa1893.
“He’s tied to the club and feels a bond with the shirt and with the fans.
“The decision, is, ultimately, up to President Preziosi. Anything can happen in football.
“But if you ask Mattia, he wants to stay at the club.”
