Catania Coach Rolando Maran is “200 per cent sure of safety” ahead of the early game with Lazio.
It kicks off at 11.30 GMT on Sunday, click here for a match preview.
“I want a great performance from my men, as Lazio are in good shape,” he said in a Press conference.
“We are earning our credibility on the field and we’re on the right track. The lads are improving, which is a good sign to boost confidence.”
The Elefantini were very unlucky not to win at Parma last week, as they dominated the game and rattled the frame of the goal.
“We must play with patience,” continued Maran. “We want the victory with courage and not by simply throwing the kitchen sink at them.
“I don’t fear anyone in particular at Lazio, as they all have quality and play in a solid fashion. Sometimes the goal can be a matter of centimetres, as we created so much against Inter and Parma without getting the results.”
Despite an upturn in form, Catania remain bottom of the Serie A table on 16 points from 23 games.
“We’ve had three draws in a row now, but three points in one go would give us a different boost. The squad is 200 per cent sure of safety.”
