President Claudio Lotito hinted Miroslav Klose could extend his Lazio contract. “We’ll make the right decision.”
The patron spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of today’s Serie A encounter with Catania at the Stadio Massimino.
“Is Klose closer to a renewal? I don’t think this is the right moment to talk about transfer issues,” replied Lotito.
“We have a great rapport with Miro and at the time when we get together to discuss it, we’ll make the right decision.”
The German international’s current deal expires in June and he reportedly has offers from Germany, England and the American MLS.
Lotito also commented on the successful streak since Edy Reja replaced Vladimir Petkovic on the Lazio bench.
“The rapport of trust between club and Coach had gone. Now we have returned to doing simple but effective things.”
