Napoli could be without both Gonzalo Higuain and Pepe Reina for their Europa League clash with Swansea on Thursday.
The Vesuviani travel out to Wales for the first leg of their Round of 32 clash later this week, but potentially without two of their more experienced number.
Higuain was forced off on Sunday afternoon against Sassuolo complaining of back pain and, whilst Rafa Benitez played down its severity post-match, the player is reportedly keen to not take any risks.
Il Mattino report that if the issue does not ease in the coming hours, the former Real Madrid man would opt to pull out of Thursday’s trip out to the UK.
The Corriere dello Sport say that goalkeeper Reina is also at risk from missing the match, as he is set for tests at training today to determine if he has recovered from an injury that kept him out of the weekend match.
