Juan Manuel Vargas is currently having an operation on his hand, and could be out for up to a month.
The Peru international injured himself in Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Inter, and Calcio News report that the 30-year-old is in a clinic in Florence after breaking his fourth metacarpal.
It is suggested that the wide-man will go under the knife before returning for a check-up next week.
Initial reports claim though, that Vargas may sit out the next four weeks with the injury.
