Udinese goalkeeper on Arsenal radar

Arsenal are said to be interested in securing the services of young Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet.

While only 17 years old, the shot-stopper has been playing in the Friuli Venezia Giulia side’s first team of late and has been in impressive form.

Up until around a month ago he was the club’s fourth choice keeper, but a series of circumstances and injuries led to him making his first team debut in a Serie A match with Bologna.

Now, Metro are reporting, his performances have attracted the attention of the London giants and the Gunners have already made contact with Udinese regarding a potential summer transfer of the player.
