Claudio Marchisio has reflected that Juventus will face a strong Torino this weekend, to affirm his belief that ‘there are no easy derbies’.
Il Toro visit the Bianconeri for the Derby della Mole in continued good form, sat seventh in the League.
Whilst Juve are sitting several points ahead of the chasing pack at the top of the table, this weekend’s test will not be simple, according to their No 8.
“Honestly, it is a different derby, they are a team that has a Coach who has given them an identity to their play, they have strengthened and it shows in the League,” Marchisio has told Mediaset in anticipation.
“This is a derby that won’t be easy, and even if the others were easier, there has never been an easy derby.
“Toro have been improving from year to year. It is going to be a tough and difficult match.”
Marchisio was talking after Juve’s 2-0 home leg win over Trabzonspor in the Europa League.
“The result gives us confidence even if we now face a heated atmosphere in the return leg. During the second half there was a slight physical decline, we have to play with our head. In the end we extended the lead, due to the amount of stoppage time. In the end that second goal arrived and has given us some tranquillity.
“Now there will be more games, we will need everyone, everyone who is called into action will make their own contribution in the coming games.
“Those who play less? There could be a little tension to begin with, when you play less. The guys have confidence. We always try to give our best, then the performance may be good or bad.”
