Inter attacking midfielder Hernanes is said to be winning his battle to be fit for his side’s game with Roma at the weekend.
The 28-year-old missed the Nerazzurri’s home game with Cagliari last Sunday as they laboured to a 1-1 draw with the Sardinians.
He has today however completed a light training session with the rest of the squad, something that had not happened so far this week.
Now, according to Sky Sport, it will be up to Coach Walter Mazzarri to decide whether to risk starting the Brazilian against the Giallorossi or to be more conservative and name him on the bench.
