Lazio’s Antonio Candreva admits his side have experienced more lows than highs this season.
The Biancoceleste crashed out of the Europa League on Thursday night against Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets and must now focus on trying to qualify for next season’s competition.
“The Ludogorets match was an important one,” Candreva said to Lazio Style Radio. “It’s hard to play in Europe, score three goals away from home and not go through, but unfortunately the home leg cost us qualification.
“Now all we can do is concentrate on Fiorentina, there are still some games to go and we want to get back into Europe.
“It hasn’t been a brilliant season, we can’t hide from that.
“We have had too many ups and downs, but to tell the truth there have been more lows than highs.”
