Reports are that Sassuolo have dispensed with Coach Alberto Malesani’s services and brought back Eusebio Di Francesco.
Di Francesco was originally sacked by the Neroverdi at the end of January after a run of seven defeats from eight.
However, successor Malesani’s own return of five consecutive defeats since taking the bench has reportedly cost him his job, with Di Francesco apparently now brought back from his effective gardening leave.
Sassuolo, who are yet to communicate the news officially, sit 20th in Serie A and four points adrift of Chievo in 17th.
Reports are that the squad have been sent into a training retreat under Di Francesco from today, in an attempt to try and turn around the situation.
