Roma have reassuring news after Kevin Strootman limped off during Holland’s game with France last night.
The midfielder sustained an injury in his country’s 2-0 friendly defeat on Wednesday and there were fears he would be out for some time.
However, this afternoon the Giallorossi medics confirmed there are “no lesions” to ligaments or muscles, so it is only a knock to the right knee.
He has already started physiotherapy, though it remains to be seen whether he can start this weekend’s Serie A game against Napoli.
