“It is an intriguing tie between two teams on level terms who are doing very well, though there are still many rounds to go this season,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“Naturally the evaluation of these sides will not rest solely on what happens in these 90 minutes. Both Parma and Verona want to continue an important journey, which means we’ll do everything to win.

“The important thing is to step on to the field with the right mentality. We had it last time we faced Verona, even if the result didn’t go our way.

“We know it is going to be a struggle, as Verona are in good shape and even when not at their best have still been able to get good results. Therefore our approach has got to be fundamental in a tough but stimulating encounter.”

Hellas are boosted by the return of hitman Luca Toni from suspension.

“We know Toni is a player of absolute value who had a few less sharp years because he wasn’t playing regularly. If someone like him is in good physical shape, then he can really do damage.”
