Bologna forward Robert Acquafresca says he is ready to play again following a month out through injury.
The 26-year-old admits the last few years have been somewhat frustrating for him but he is now looking to the future.
“I’m still alive, luckily,” Acquafresca said at a Press conference.
“Unfortunately I never managed to get back in Pioli’s plans when he was here but I still gave my all in training.
“The team has always believed in me so I want to take this opportunity to thank my teammates in public.
“Let’s say that the last few years haven’t been great, mostly from a personal point of view.
“But I am working very hard and I am ready to play.
“I have a great relationship with Ballardini, it’s because of him that I stayed at the club.
“Our target is obviously to stay up, we need to go out for every game with the bit between our teeth.”
