Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is still unsure whether he will remain at San Siro beyond the end of the season.
The 33-year-old is out of contract in the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will be part of Coach Walter Mazzarri’s future plans.
“One thing I do know is that I’m 33 and still want to play football,” Cambiasso told Sports Mediaset.
“I don’t know where, but I do want to play.
“Would I sign a contract if Inter offered me one? We need to look at the timeframe but these quotes just make headlines.
“One things that is certain is that Inter and Esteban Cambiasso will always have a great story to tell.”
The Argentine then discussed the Nerazzuri upcoming match with Verona.
“The Verona match is important because we’re on the back of two tricky away trips and we’ve got four points from them.
“Winning in Verona would be a good way of consolidating our recent form.
“It’s important that Inter get into Europe because that’s where the club belongs.”
