Genoa ‘aiming for impossible’

Genoa left back Luca Antonelli says his side will try to make the impossible possible when they face Juventus on Sunday.

The mid-table Rossoblu will have their work cut out against Antonio Conte’s runaway Serie A leaders, who have lost only once all season.

“We will try to make the impossible possible,” Antonelli told his club’s official website.

“Because the difference between the sides in terms of value and our positions in the table are enormous.

“We need to fight with the spirit that characterises this team and be united and ready to help each other out.

“The atmosphere in our stadium is fantastic but when we play there in the evenings it becomes incredible.

“There is a fantastic vibrancy around the place and that could also help us stop the Bianconeri.”
