Reports are that Roma are in talks with Rudi Garcia’s agent this week over handing the Frenchman a new and improved contract.
The tactician only signed a two-year deal with an option for a third season last summer, when first arriving at the club.
However, on from impressing with his work and leading the Giallorossi to a so far second place in Serie A, club officials have been increasingly seen as keen to tie down the 50-year-old to a new deal.
Speculation is that talks have officially begun, with the Corriere dello Sport and Gazzetta dello Sport today reporting that Garcia’s agent Pascal Boisseau - shared also with Gervinho - was at Trigoria yesterday.
The agent is said to have met with sporting director Walter Sabatini and general manager Mauro Baldissoni, where it is believed that terms have been presented on a two-year extension for Garcia, with the prospect also of an improvement on his current €1.2m salary.
