Parma director Pietro Leonardi has praised the performances of Gabriel Paletta, but has refused to rule out the possibility of him leaving.
The defender recently made his debut for the Italian national team after a series of superb displays for the Crociati.
But the board member has admitted that sometimes offers are too good to turn down.
“Paletta, even during the difficult times, decided to stay with Parma,” he told Radio Crc.
“He rejected offers from other clubs, and I can tell you they were better offers economically.
“If the players are giving up more money, then it means we are doing something right here. We have built something important.
“The players are now in the spotlight after our run and have the opportunity of playing for their national teams.
“If a bid was to arrive for Paletta, then the player and the club would have to be in agreement.
“So far, no one has said they want to leave. But if something comes in, then we’d have to see.”
