Spanish paper Sport claims it’s a ‘bidding war’ between Barcelona and Bayern Munich for Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado.

The Catalan newspaper’s front page this morning points to an ‘all-out war’ for the Colombian international.

His price-tag is at least €33m and could well rise if the two giants try to out-do each other.

On Friday Viola patron Andrea Della Valle confessed they would release Cuadrado if he requested a transfer on his return from a post-World Cup vacation.

“When he returns we want to see if he shows us the desire to stay in Florence. If he really does want to remain. We’ll talk to him and look him in the eye to resolve the situation.

“It’s complicated, but not impossible. I’ll do everything I can, even with many sacrifices, but if the lad is no longer motivated to stay here then we can only accept that and move on.

“However, at the moment I don’t get that sensation from him.”

Sport claims Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has already contacted Della Valle to confirm his intention of signing Cuadrado.

Manchester United are also lurking in the background should Juventus rejected their offer for Arturo Vidal.
