Torino President Urbano Cairo has refused to discuss match officials following his side’s defeat to Napoli last night.
Granata Coach Giampiero Ventura was furious that Gonzalo Higuain’s late winning goal in the 1-0 loss was allowed to stand.
“After the derby against Juventus I commented on the referee but that was different to how I usually behave,” Cairo is quoted as saying on CalcioNapoli24.
“I think it would be right to repsect the referee’s decision, so I don’t want to make any further comment.
“What happened was seen by everyone and the team now needs to try to be strong.”
