Lazio doctor Roberto Bianchini says that forward Helder Postiga has trained with the first team for the first time since joining the club.
The Portuguese arrived at Stadio Olimpico on loan from Valencia in January but is still yet to make his Biancoceleste debut.
Indeed, it had even recently been feared that he would leave the club without ever playing for them after worries that he would need surgery to cure a back problem.
“Postiga, for the first time, has trained with the team,” Bianchini told Lazio Style Radio 100.7.
“His response has been good but the next few days, with more intense physical work, will be decisive in knowing whether the Portuguese has truly recovered.”
