Troubled Bologna have released a statement confirming the club is up for sale and seeking investors.
The Stadio Dall’Ara side had numerous problems in recent years and there were reports today that businessman Francesco Becchetti was trying to buy into the shares.
As a response, Bologna released a statement confirming they have asked lawyer Mattia Grassani to hold negotiations with any third parties interested in buying the club.
“We wish to end the continual, unfounded and destabilising rumours on various people who are supposedly interested in buying all or part of the Bologna shares.”
