The agent of Porto midfielder Fernando denied suggestions that Napoli have been in contact with his client.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Dragoes in the summer, with Milan, Juventus and the Partenopei all reportedly keen.
However, the player’s representative has refused to talk about the transfer market.
“We are pleased with how Fernando has played this season,” Antonio Araujo told TuttoMercatoWeb.
“He’s a great midfielder and is proving he can play at the highest level. Against Napoli he showed off his qualities and is focused on getting to the Europa League final.
“Right now, I’d rather not talk about the market. We are in a decisive moment in the season – so now is not the time for speculation.
“We will see what happens in the coming months, but it’s useless to talk about the market right now.”
