The Coach has opened up in recent days to the possibility of recalling FantAntonio, who is on sparkling form for the Ducali.
He has scored 11 goals in Serie A this season and helped Parma to sixth place with a club record 16-round unbeaten run.
They host Genoa today at the Stadio Tardini and Italy boss Prandelli will reportedly be in the stands to view the game.
There are other names he’ll be watching too, including Gabriel Paletta – who made his Azzurri debut in the 1-0 friendly defeat to Spain earlier this month – Marco Parolo, Antonio Mirante and Genoa’s Alberto Gilardino.
However, it’s safe to say the media focus will be on Cassano and whether he can convince Prandelli of his reliability in Brazil.
