Manuel Pasqual has joined the lengthy Fiorentina injury list and is out for at least 10 days with a thigh strain.
The captain limped off during last night’s 2-0 home defeat to Milan and has been diagnosed with a grade II tear in the right adductor muscle.
He has already begun physiotherapy and will undergo further tests in 10 days.
There was good news for Marvin Compper, who only took a knock to the thigh and has not sustained a serious injury.
Fiorentina are already without Giuseppe Rossi, Mario Gomez, Anderson, Ante Rebic and David Pizarro.
