Inter director Piero Ausilio confirmed Ibrahima Mbaye will return and they are “working in the direction” of Edin Dzeko or Fernando Torres.

The technical director spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight’s Serie A game with Udinese” data-scaytid=”8″>Udinese, which kicks off at 19.45 GMT.

“Youngsters like Mbaye will return, because they are out on loan. Then we will make our evaluations with Walter Mazzarri,” said Ausilio.

He was asked whether he’d prefer Manchester City striker Dzeko, Chelsea’s Torres or Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

“Aside from the names, I think it’s obvious we are working in that direction for that role. It’s true we cannot target players whose wages are too high, but in football there are often many other resources.

“We’ll put a little bit of creativity and ingenious thought into it.”

This could include the use of sponsors to help pay for transfers and wages.

“We want to build a team that takes into account the economic parameters we’ve been set. This year was very useful working with the Coach and will be a great resource for next season. I am convinced of that.”
