Marcelo Estigarribia says that the atmosphere at Atalanta reminds him of a similar one he saw at Juventus.
La Dea are on a five-game winning run in Serie A that has taken them up to seventh in the table and has their Chilean winger reminiscing of a similar moment at Juve, where he was part of the squad that won the 2011-12 Scudetto.
“The environment at Atalanta is different to other clubs, but it reminds me, in some respects, of that at Juventus,” Estigarribia has explained to reporters this week, ahead of Atalanta’s Week 31 test at Bologna.
“We have the character of the Bianconeri in our humility, determination and that we are a large group.
“We are doing well, but we know that we have still not done anything important. If we do not win at Bologna, everything we have done so far will be forgotten.
“We can and we want to beat the Rossoblu, there is a lot of enthusiasm and above all our strength is our humility.
“In the field we are organised and we have fun. Are we obsessed with making Europe now? No, it is a motivation.”
