Alberto Gilardino will not require surgery after fracturing his hand, so the striker will be available for Verona-Genoa.
The forward went off during Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Lazio after finding the net and X-Rays found he had fractured the third metacarpal in his hand.
Medical staff considered the options and have decided he will not need to go under the knife.
It means Gilardino will be available to play Verona-Genoa on Sunday afternoon with the aid of a protective cast.
He is the team’s top scorer this season with 13 Serie A goals.
