Paulinho scored a fantastic goal for Livorno against Inter and his agent insists “he deserves a big club.”
The Brazilian is Livorno’s top marksman this season with 12 goals in 30 Serie A appearances, while he has also provided four assists.
“Paulinho’s campaign is there for all to see, so I don’t even need to comment on it,” agent Eugenio Ascari told tuttomercatoweb.
“They are always decisive goals too and he is dragging the team forward. He proved that he didn’t suffer by stepping up from Serie B. He has been climbing the divisions for five years now.
“At Sorrento he scored 40 goals in two years, while in Serie B he did very well and this season he seems to be achieving full maturity.”
Livorno held Inter to a 2-2 draw, but they remain in the thick of the relegation battle and it’s unlikely 28-year-old Paulinho will drop back down with them.
“It is normal and logical that a player like him deserves a big club,” continued the representative.
“Even within Livorno everyone is realising what quality he has. Have any offers arrived? It’s premature to discuss this, we’ll see what the situation is in June.”
